![]() ![]() The 625 always played second fiddle to its larger siblings over here, but Wurli UK did quite well with them. You're playing this one live, all the time. No presets, menus or anything like that, of course. Overall, it's a nice big sound, but I miss all the other organ voices from the previous ranges. The synthesizer on the top works perfectly as does the bottom keyboard and all of its functions, but the middle keyboard, whenever one of the instruments is activated makes a constant sound as if all the keys were being played at once. ![]() ![]() The rhythm unit is a joke, you have go search a little to find a more unrealistic unit (er, that would be the Eminent/Solina one!). 07-18-2016, 09:57 AM Hi, I recently acquired a Wurlitzer Orbit model 580A from a church. Monophonic, of course, but only two octaves. The Orbit is good fun, but the 625 only has the cut down version. Ensemble Strings are very mushy, Wurlitzer never did get the smooth strings that you found on Eminents or Kawais, but the strings do blend with the tibias quite well. Percussions like Piano are par for the course for this age of instrument. Nice, but not as smooth as the older Wurlitzers. Tibias are a bit bright on the 625/650/950 series. ![]()
